Basket for aerial maintenance

The aerial maintenance basket is designed for lifting persons by forklift during extraordinary maintenance operations at height, ensuring high safety standards and operational stability.

Available in versions for 1 or 2 operators, it allows the forklift truck to be transformed into a stable and controlled working platform, in compliance with current regulations.

Safety and regulatory compliance

The basket complies with:

• UNI EN 14502-1:2010 (Cranes – Equipment for lifting persons)
• Legislative Decree 9 April 2008 No. 81, Annex VI, point 3.1.4

It is supplied complete with user manual and operating instructions, as required by current regulations.

Instructions for use and risk assessment

According to Circular No. 3326 of 10 February 2011 issued by the Italian Ministry of Labour, the use of equipment for lifting persons with a forklift is permitted on an exceptional basis in the following cases:

• Emergencies: immediate interventions to prevent dangerous situations.
• Site-specific conditions: when other available equipment does not ensure higher safety levels.
• Extraordinary maintenance: interventions required to restore safety conditions.

The user must carry out a risk assessment and verify compatibility between:

• Forklift rated capacity
• Total weight (operators + equipment)
• Load center of gravity

Therefore, it is possible to lift 1 or 2 persons (depending on the model) provided that:

• The total weight does not exceed the rated capacity of the forklift
• Internal safety procedures are respected
• The operator is adequately trained
