“Dust Reduction System” Kit – DRS
The DRS kit – “Dust Reduction System” is an accessory designed to limit dust dispersion during industrial cleaning operations carried out with Industrial brooms.
The system consists of a 300-litre tank installed on the broom, feeding an irrigation system with piping and a stainless-steel sprinkler that distributes water in front of the sweeping area. This helps knock down dust generated during material handling, improving working conditions in the operating areas.
The kit is designed to be installed on Industrial Classic, Industrial Large and Industrial Extra Large models.
Kit components
The DRS system includes:
- 300-litre tank
- Brass valve and fittings
- Stainless-steel sprinkler
- Water distribution system
- 10 mm thick adjustable protective blade, which protects the system and helps guide material during cleaning operations
Operation
During broom operation, the water contained in the tank is distributed in front of the sweeping area through the sprinkler. Moistening the material reduces dust formation and dispersion, improving surface cleaning and visibility in the work area.
Application sectors: manufacturing industry, steelworks, foundries, recycling plants, waste platforms, industrial yards, material treatment centres and logistics.
