Professional towing salt spreader

The professional towing salt spreader is designed for the uniform distribution of salt, salt grit or grit on courtyards, sidewalks, yards, private roads and car parks. It is an ideal solution for operations on medium to large surfaces, where high capacity and continuous operation are required.

Thanks to the towing bar, the spreader can be towed by industrial vehicles, utility vehicles or tractors, reducing operator effort and improving spreading efficiency. The distribution system is driven directly by wheel rotation, ensuring spreading proportional to the forward speed.

The K150 salt spreader can also be used in agriculture for the uniform distribution of granular fertilisers on green areas.

Structure and materials

The spreader is equipped with a tubular metal frame with a synthetic rubber hopper, supported by two pneumatic wheels that ensure stability even on uneven surfaces.
All metal surfaces are treated with Komaxit, a chemical protective coating resistant to weather conditions and the corrosive action of salt.

The spreading mechanism, spreading wheel, feed gate shutters and control fins are made of stainless steel, ensuring reliability, precision and long service life.

Operation and adjustments

Material discharge is regulated by adjusting the opening of the feed holes located at the bottom of the hopper. The power generated by wheel rotation is transmitted to the spreading system through a gear reducer, ensuring constant and uniform distribution.

For long transfers without spreading, the transmission can be disengaged to prevent wear or damage to the mechanism.
