Containers for exhausted batteries

Containers for exhausted batteries with open frame are designed for the safe collection, storage and handling of used accumulators and batteries, in compliance with current environmental regulations. They represent a professional and reliable solution for the management of highly polluting waste, such as exhausted batteries containing heavy metals.

The container consists of a UV-stabilised, non-toxic polyethylene tank housed inside a reinforced open metal frame, coated with acid-resistant paint, ensuring mechanical strength and long-term protection. The polyethylene tank is designed to chemically and electrically isolate the exhausted batteries from the external structure, increasing safety during storage.

Production is carried out by rotational moulding, resulting in a monolithic joint-free structure, particularly resistant to impacts and mechanical stress.

Structure and functionality

The container is equipped with a polyethylene lid, hinged and fully removable, designed to protect the contents from rainwater and to facilitate emptying operations.
It can be placed directly on flat surfaces without special preparation and is also suitable for outdoor storage.

The structure is palletised and designed for handling with forklift trucks or pallet trucks, and is stackable up to 3 units, thanks to anti-tip fork guides and brackets, ensuring stability during handling and storage operations.
